Its design overcomes the disadvantages of conventional smoothbore and convoluted PTFE flexible hose designs, dramatically improving on many of their individual technical performance parameters. Bioflex hose has been designed to offer clean, full-bore flow through the end fittings without any entrapment points. Bioflex is available in General Purpose (GP) grade, Electrical Continuity (EC, between end fittings) and Anti-Staic (AS) PTFE liner. Assemblies made from Bioflex hose can have stainless steel braids, tube only (no braid), Polypropylene Braid (PB), Hastelloy Braid (HB, C276 grade) and Kynar Braid (KYB, Polyvinylidene Fluoride Monofilament). Further, Bioflex hose can be ordered with an outer Rubber Cover (RC) over the SS braid, with a Silicone Cover (SI), Fireproof Rubber Covered (FP) or as RC-300 which is rubber covered at the last 12 inches (300mm) at the hose end to stiffen the hose to prevent kinking.
